A Busy New Year

We welcome you to our choral events this winter.

On February 6th the Ohio Music Education Associatin will present the annual Solo and Ensemble contest at Lima Senior. This event is free and open to the public. Students from area schools will be performing prepared solos and group numbers for an adjudicated rating.

February 16th will feature Dr. Debrorah Brubaker as our guest for the day. Dr. Brubaker is choral director at Goshen College in Indiana. She will be working with all of our choirs during the regular school day.

Five students (Josh Boggs, Taylor Miller, Zach Scobie, Bryson Tarbet, and Anthony Taylor) have been selected to sing with the honor choir for the American Choral Directors Association regional convention in Cincinnati on Feb 25th-27th.

On March 1, the Masterworks Choir will visit Wright State University for a full day choral retreat with Dr. Drew Collins and the WSU choirs.

Choir Seeking Historic Documents/Recordings

We are trying to build our archives. We have most of the Holiday in Harmony programs since 1959. The years listed here are what we are missing. If you have a program to donate or can copy one for us, we would appreciate filling in the gaps. Here is what years are missing from Holiday in Harmony: 1956-58, 1962, 1970, 1773, 1977-82, 1984, 1988 and 89. Soon on this site you will find images of old recordings that the choir currently has. We would like to complete our archives with recordings that are missing. We appreciate any help with historic documents of the choir.
